Changing Passwords on Your System
Through the Internet
Passwords must be changed every 90 days. New passwords must be
at least eight characters long, not contain any parts of the previous password or
your user name, and meet two of the following complexity requirements:
- Mixture of upper and lower case letters
- Include numbers
- Include special symbols

From within the College:
Changing your password in Windows is quite an easy task if you are on campus.
Press your "Ctrl" + "Alt"
+ "Delete" keys all at one time. This will open
a dialogue box like the following.
Click on the "change password" button on the bottom left hand side of
the dialogue box.
Type in your old password, then type your new password. You will need to type the
new password in twice to confirm it.
If successful in this change, you will see the following dialogue box:
After you click ok, this will bring you back to your original "ctrl + alt +
Simply choose "cancel" and you will have the password changed and be back
at your desktop.
