Belmont College is an authorized testing center for Pearson
VUE. All certification test candidates should call or email the Testing
Center Specialist to schedule an exam and must present two forms of identification
(one with a photo, both with a signature) before the exam is administered.
Candidates without proper identification will NOT be tested.
Available tests that correspond to Belmont College programs are:
Cyber Security and Computer Forensics
This program is Belmont's newest Information Technology degree designed
to propel students into an entry-level position in network security. The specialized
curriculum will prepare students to sit for the
Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) certifications in:
A+, Security+, and Network+.
Belmont College, in partnership with Cisco Systems, provides the training
required to compete in an increasingly technologically-dependent workplace:
- Upon completion of NET1151-1154, students will be prepared to take the
Cisco Certified New Associate (CCNA) certification exam.
- Upon completion of NET1141-1142, students will be prepared to take the
CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification exams.
Emergency Medical Services and Firefighter Programs
Belmont College has the ability to administer certification testing through the
National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
in the following areas:
- First Responder
- Intermediate 085
Please note: All candidates must go through a process and
be cleared (given authorization to test) by the National Registry BEFORE they can
be scheduled by Belmont College for testing.
