Campus Safety & Security
Belmont College takes your safety and security very seriously, as we want your time spent on campus to be a positive experience. If you have a problem while on campus, please report it immediately to your instructor or notify the security department at extension 8511.
Emergencies should be immediately reported to your instructor or dial 911 from any college phone. Please follow the Emergency Response Procedures posted by each phone. The emergency services for your current location will respond.
BeAlert Mass Notification System
Belmont College maintains a mass notification system called BeAlert that uses e-mail, voice mail, and text messaging to notify the college community in the event of an on-campus emergency, weather delays/cancellations, or other issues pertinent to the campus community. Students are strongly urged to provide contact information for the BeAlert system and to update their information as necessary. To enter or update contact information, log-in to MyBelmont and follow the BeAlert system steps. Further information can be obtained by contacting the Director of Operations.
