Trustees Scholarship
For 2013 Graduates:
The Trustees Scholarship at Belmont College offers a tuition-only award to students
to cover the cost of up to 6 academic terms after other forms of need-based financial
aid have been applied. Students must enroll at Belmont in the summer or fall semester
immediately following high school graduation. Students must meet residency requirements
for Belmont, Harrison, or Monroe Counties and graduate from a high school in one
of these Counties. A successful candidate must meet all scholarship and enrollment
requirements. This scholarship can help with tuition costs and significantly reduce
the costs of pursuing an exciting and profitable career.
To be eligible for the Trustees Scholarship, students must complete the following
by the priority deadline of March 31. After March 31 and before August 28 awards
will be made on a first come basis, should funds remain.
Quick Trustees Scholarship checklist:
The Trustees Scholarship covers tuition only. This Scholarship does not cover fees
such as the general fee, the technology fee, and course fees. Additionally, the
Scholarship does not cover books and supplies. Some students have enough grant money
to cover these expenses which is based on your FAFSA results. The Trustees Scholarship
will cover your tuition only after other forms of grant money, such as the Federal
Pell Grant have been applied.
Here are examples to show you how the Trustees Scholarship works, and how it can
help cover students' tuition only costs:
All amounts in examples are estimates and not necessarily actual amounts
of grants or tuition.
