Belmont College Student Recipient of Belmont Savings Bank Scholarship

ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OH – August 31, 2012 – Awarding students based on academic quality is a priority at Belmont College. Many scholarships are awarded each year based on a student’s ability to achieve success in the classroom.

Beth Feller, from Bellaire, Ohio is one such student, as she has been awarded the Belmont Savings Bank Scholarship.

Feller is a second-year student pursuing a degree in accounting; her anticipated graduation date is June 2013. She presently works as the Securities Processing Coordinator at a local bank in their Trust Operations Department. After graduation Feller would like to advance her career in banking and is considering continuing on to a four-year institution to receive a bachelor’s degree.

Feller is also a member Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges.

“I believe I made an excellent decision in continuing my education at Belmont College,” said Feller. “I am sincerely thankful to Belmont Savings Bank for making this scholarship available to me. Their generosity will allow me to pay for books and tuition for the upcoming semester.”

To be eligible for the Belmont Savings Bank Scholarship, applicants must be second-year students at Belmont College with at least 45 credit hours and be enrolled in a two-year business program. Students must also be currently working in financial services, or planning a career in this industry.
