Belmont College Announces Articulation Agreement with Kent State University
St. Clairsville, OH (April 10, 2013) – Belmont College has entered into an articulation agreement with Kent State University that will benefit both transfer students and the institutions involved.
AccordThese agreements allow for transition from two years at Belmont College with a completion of an associate’s degree and then completion at Kent State University with a bachelor of engineering technology degree for the following degree programs: Belmont College Civil Engineering to Kent State’s Manufacturing/Mechanical/Systems concentration and 2+2 Integrated Engineering technology concentration; or Belmont College Industrial Electronics to Kent State’s Green and Alternative Energy and Electrical/Electronics.
An information session regarding recently signed agreements will be held at Belmont College on April 17 from 3:00-4:00p.m. Dr. Kamal Bichara, Director of Engineering Technology at Kent State University will be available to discuss the program benefits, requirements, and pathways with students.
“We are delighted to forge even stronger bonds with Kent State University with this agreement,” said Judy Sandstead, Director of Program Development. “It not only acknowledges the strong educational background that Belmont College transfer students will take with them to Kent State, but it also strengthens Belmont’s relationship with Kent State University.”
