State Tested Nurse Aid Training Program Offered
St. Clairsville, OH (December 30, 2013) – Belmont College offers a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Training Program that meets the education and testing requirements for nursing assistants as required by the Ohio Department of Health.
STNA training is also a pre-requisite for entrance into Belmont College’s nursing programs.
In addition to classroom work, clinical experiences will allow students to demonstrate personal care skills in care settings under the supervision of experienced nurses. Upon successful completion of the training program, students will receive the State of Ohio Nurse Aide Certificate and be qualified to take the STNA examination.
The 96-hour program is offered in day and evening formats at the Main Campus location in St. Clairsville; classes begin January 16 for the Tuesday/Thursday option and January 20 for the Monday/Wednesday option. Additionally the program is offered in evening format at the Swiss Hills location in Woodsfield and the Harrison County Center in Cadiz; classes begin February 4 for the Tuesday/Thursday option and February 5 for the Monday/Wednesday option.
