Belmont College Hosting Open House
St. Clairsville, OH (March 17, 2016) — Belmont College will be holding a New Student Open House on Tuesday, March 29 from Noon until 6:00 p.m. at the Main Campus location in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
Prospective students and their families are invited to meet and talk with college faculty and staff, receive assistance with admissions and financial aid, tour the campus, and enjoy free refreshments and giveaways. Staff will also be on-hand to discuss the College Credit Plus program for high school students, as well as new program offerings, and scholarship opportunities.
The first 200 prospective students will receive a free t-shirt.
“We want to encourage a positive message about the value of education,” said Dr. Paul Gasparro, President. “We have made some great changes at Belmont, including updated class schedules as well as new program offerings and scholarship opportunities. We now have various programs, including Welding, Business and Accounting that are offered in day, evening and weekend formats to provide students the flexibility to balance their personal and academic responsibilities.”
Prospective students will also learn about the Be Connected initiative, which provides an iPad for every student, faculty and the majority of staff members for integration into every facet of student life from enrollment to graduation. The purpose of Be Connected is to encourage completion and retention, as well as to enhance the way Belmont College teaches and prepares students for the technology-driven careers that await them.
