Belmont College Partners with University of Akron on New Degree Opportunities

Industry Demand Behind New Degree Offerings

WHAT: Belmont College and The University of Akron to announce Bachelor of Science degree program designed to meet the employment needs of energy industry.

 

WHEN: Wednesday, February 28, at 2:30 p.m. (event agenda below)

 

WHERE: Belmont College – Main Campus Room 173; 68094 Hammond Road; St. Clairsville, Ohio

 

WHY: The energy industry in the Ohio Valley is growing, and could expand significantly with the possibility of a proposed ethane cracker plant complex. As a result, Belmont College and The University of Akron’s College of Applied Science and Technology are working together to offer additional degree opportunities in response to industry needs.
