St. Clairsville, OH (May 28, 2021) – Belmont College is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to serve on the College Board of Trustees. The newest board members are Ms. Allison Anderson and Mr. Matthew Steele.
They were elected by Caucus and their term on the Board of Trustees began April 19, 2021.
Ms. Anderson, from Cadiz, Ohio, currently works as Harrison County Auditor where she has worked since 2019. She is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is also a graduate of Murray State University with a Master of Business Administration.
Mr. Steele, from St. Clairsville, Ohio, currently works as President of Steele Insurance Associates, Inc., an Independent Insurance Agency, in St. Clairsville. He is a graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Minor in Entrepreneurship. Mr. Steele also serves on the Western Reserve Group Agents Advisory Board, as well as works as a finance committee member with the Ohio Insurance Agents Association. Additionally, he serves on the St. Mary’s Central School Board as Finance Council Member.

Additionally, Dr. Mark Macri was reappointed to the Board of Trustees to serve an additional three-year term. His new term began on April 19, 2021.
Dr. Macri has served on the Board since 2011 and is currently Vice Chairman. Dr. Macri is a Physical Therapist in private practice in St. Clarsville, Ohio. He established Belmont Physical Therapy in 1982 where he continues to practice today. He is board certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Dr. Marci earned his DPT in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, Masters in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University.
Belmont College is governed by a board composed of nine trustee members. Three of the trustees are Governor appointed and six are elected by a caucus of the presidents (or their designates) of the school boards within the College’s district. Appointees are qualified electors residing in the College’s district.
