Pharmacy Technician Program Offered

St. Clairsville, OH (August 7, 2014) The Workforce Development and Community Education Department at Belmont College will be offering a 50-hour Pharmacy Technician Program this fall. The program provides both technical and practical training which will help to enable students to function as a competent entry-level pharmacy technician.


Students, who complete the program and earn the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certificate, will meet or exceed Pharmacy Technician employment requirements in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.


Classes will be offered beginning October 7 through December 2 on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 6:00-9:30pm.

An 80-hour clinical externship with an area pharmacy is available to students who successfully complete the course.
