New Network Support Specialist Program to be Offered

St. Clairsville, OH (January 13, 2015) – Belmont College is now offering a new short term CISCO Networking Certification beginning Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Students who complete the 4-course series, offered over spring and summer semesters, will be eligible to test for CompTIA A+ Certification, CompTIA Network + Certification, and CISCO Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) Certification.


“Within a 50-mile radius of St Clairsville, there are almost 200 jobs listed on the Ohio Means Jobs website that require either an A+ or Network+ Certification and networking careers are on the In Demand Occupation List for Ohio,” said Rob Guentter, Belmont College Director of Workforce Development.


Classes will be offered beginning February 4 through May 21, 2015, on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:00-10:00pm. All 4 courses are applicable to the Networking Associate of Applied Science Degree also offered at the college.
