Pharmacy Technician Program Offered

St. Clairsville, OH (May 12, 2015) – The Workforce Development and Community Education Department at Belmont College will be offering a 50-hour Pharmacy Technician Program this summer. The program provides both technical and practical training which will help to enable students to function as a competent entry-level pharmacy technician.


Students who complete the program will earn a Pharmacy Technician Certificate of Completion from Belmont College. In addition, the course will prepare students to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Exam. Completion of this course will meet or exceed Pharmacy Technician entry-level employment requirements in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.”


Classes will be offered beginning July 13 through September 9 on Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 6:00-9:30pm. An 80-hour clinical externship with an area pharmacy is available at no-cost to students who successfully complete the course.
