Welding Certifications

Short-Term Welding Certifications

Belmont College now offers non-credit  American Welding Society (AWS) Certification Training and is a AWS Educational Institution. Welding classes, for all skill levels, are offered throughout the day and night to meet your busy schedule!

Welding is the most common way to permanently join metal parts. Typically, heat is applied to the metal pieces to be joined, melting the parts and fusing them to form a permanent bond. Because of its’ strength, welding is used to construct and repair:

  • Parts of ships and storage containers
  • Pipelines
  • Heavy Equipment
  • Automobiles
  • Thousands of other products
