Training for Business & Industry

Through the Workforce Development and Community Education Department, we offer classes for those seeking a specific skill set without the extended time commitment of completing a degree or certificate. We also develop training in customer specific areas for individuals or groups to help businesses /industries maximize their productivity and profit. Our mission is to provide educational opportunities that maximize workforce performance, career development, and self-enrichment.

Earn a high school diploma and receive career training for FREE!

Ohio’s Options Adult Diploma Program is brought to you by the Ohio Department of Education, in partnership with educational providers in South Eastern Ohio. This program offers a high school diploma to Ohio residents, 22 and older, without a high school diploma or GED. Graduates of the Adult Diploma Program will receive a state issued high school diploma along with training and a credential in an in-demand career field. Choose from one of the following programs: Nurse Aide Program (STNA), EMT Basic, or EMT Advanced. Other programs will be added at a later date.

 

Please note: Registration for the Adult Diploma Program is contingent upon passing the WorkKeys test.  Please contact Amanda Hession, Specialist, Student Success Center, at 740.699.3882, to request an appointment to take the WorkKeys test.
