Q. How do I enroll in Workforce Development or Community Education classes?
Mail In Registration - Complete registration form and mail check, money order, or

Walk-In Registration (Main Campus Only) - Drop off registration forms during the
regular Workforce Development and Community Education Office hours,
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Q. When are classes scheduled?
Most classes are scheduled for evenings, however some are in the daytime and Saturdays.

Q. How do I pay for a Workforce Development or Community Education classes?
Most non-credit classes are not covered by financial aid.
Payments can be made via check (payable to Belmont College), money order, credit
card (Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express) or cash. Payments must be
received by the Workforce Development and Community Education Department eight days
prior to the start date of class to be registered for the class.

Q. What is the Refund Policy?
100% refund if College cancels
100% refund if student withdraws 7 days (or more) prior to the start date of class.
50% refund if student withdraws 2-6 days prior to start date of class.
0% if less that 2 days prior to the start date of class.
Q. How do I withdraw from a class?
In order to withdraw from class a student must notify the Workforce Development
and Community Education Department and state that s/he will not be attending class.
If student fails to notify the department of cancelation no refund will be given.

Q. How do I learn about cancellations?
Class cancellations and delays are occasionally necessary due to weather conditions
or unforeseen circumstances. Weather cancellations apply to all on and off campus
locations unless otherwise announced.
All cancellations are announced on the www.belmontcollege.edu
website.
Announcements will be made, when possible, on WTRF and WTOV9 concerning the next
day’s classes.
The following radio stations will broadcast day and/or evening class cancellations:
WOMP AM/FM, WILE-AM, WCMJ-FM,WSTV-AM, WWVA-AM, WOVK-FM, WBBD-AM, WEGW FM,WEEL-FM,
WVKF-FM, WBNV-FM, WWKC-FM, WEIR, 1063-Th River and JACK-FM
