SafeLand Basic Safety Orientation

In order to be competitive in today‚Äôs oil and gas industry it is crucial to understand the general safety processes and procedures.  To assist in providing these measures to the local area, Belmont College will be offering a SafeLand Basic Safety Orientation and training course for the oil and gas industry.  The SafeLand training is a one-day course offered at the Main Campus in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

SafeLand: Oil and Gas Safety Training

All classes will start at 8:00a.m. and end at 5:00p.m. at the main campus in St. Clairsville, OH. Classes will be held on the following dates:

  • Thursday, November 20, 2014
  • Thursday, December 18, 2014

This is a non-credit course and the fee is $225.00, which includes class materials.

SafeLand is the accepted standard for safety orientation for the U.S. upstream oil and gas industry.  By offering this course, Belmont College will provide participants with a general idea of the life of an oil & gas employee and the safety issues involved before beginning work in the oil and gas industry.  Participants will receive a photo ID SafeLand card with a unique bar code. SafeLand is instructed through Risk Control 360.
