This class covers the basics of digital photography. Point and shoot camera owners are welcome to take the class, but this class will have an emphasis on photography using SLR cameras. Topics covered will be parts of a camera, different types of camera lenses, pixels, ISO and how it relates to digital photography, aperture and depth of field, shutter speeds/shutter effects, basic exposure, developing your eye, photo composition and the rule of thirds, files, and more. Participants will do at least one night at a photo friendly location to practice what ithey learn.
