If you require tutoring for a particular course, please visit the Success Center and complete a Request for Assistance form. As part of the Ohio eTutoring Consortium, Belmont College is able to provide free online tutoring to all of our students, 24/7! eTutoringOnline is a tutoring platform which allows tutors to work with students synchronously and asynchronously, answering questions in real time, or replying to questions and essay submissions that students have left for review and commentary. Currently, eTutoringOnline is used in over 130 two- and four-year, public and private colleges and universities. Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a student support program that is offered in many key courses recognized for their difficult content. At the heart of supplemental instruction is the Supplemental Instruction Leader, a student who has previously demonstrated outstanding performance in the designated supplemental instruction course. The SI Leader attends each session of a supplemental instruction course, takes notes, records important information and directions, notes test dates, and assists students in the classroom and labs. The SI Leader will also conduct SI sessions outside of class time. These sessions are peer-facilitated study sessions, which will help students review course content and prepare for upcoming coursework and exams. These sessions are open to all sections of a SI course. All SI sessions are held in the Student Success Center, unless otherwise noted. A full calendar and session updates are located on the Success Center MyBelmont page.
